SUPER MAG Fest 2026 is hosting the first public showing of Andamiro USA’s in-development Nickelodeon Kart Racers Arcade. The live music, console gaming and arcade event is taking place in January 2026.
Andamiro had previously indicated that the kart racer might appear at IAAPA 2025, but it was not exhibited there. A March debut at Amusement Expo had seemed possible; instead, the game has appeared at MAGFest.
The cabinets are being presented as a prototype, not a confirmed production release. Andamiro said testing is also expected to begin during January, and the design, software and feature set may change substantially—or the project may not proceed to production.
What the prototype cabinets look like
Images from the event show cabinets that broadly resemble Andamiro’s earlier November render. However, the seats and control panels are no longer entirely green. The machines also appear to be conversions of an existing Chinese racing game, with Chinese text still visible on parts of the cabinet.

The build on display is clearly an early work in progress. Initial gameplay feedback describes highly sensitive steering and stiff-feeling action. Menu navigation also requires a D-pad, while some buttons remain labelled in Chinese.
The driving currently feels overly sensitive, and the gameplay is very rigid. Some menu functions require the D-pad, with other controls still carrying untranslated Chinese labels.
English localisation would be expected before a commercial launch. Completing that work before wider testing would also make the game easier for players to understand, since unfamiliar labels can affect how people respond to an early test build.
For Australian operators and collectors comparing driving cabinets, the developing title sits within the broader racing arcade category, although its final hardware and software package have not yet been confirmed.

Andamiro explains the MAGFest display
Andamiro said the cabinets at MAGFest are first-prototype units originally used for programming and porting the game to arcade hardware. Developer Team Infinity is using them to assess selected functions, including the networking software.
The company stressed that these machines are not representative of the production package. Their marquee assembly, cabinet graphics and laser etching are unfinished, and some visible markings are not in English.
Andamiro also stated that several completed, market-ready cabinets are already at its United States facility ahead of upcoming test placements. For the MAGFest demonstration, force feedback was disabled, and the software running on the machines is not final.
A promising project still in testing
Nickelodeon Kart Racers Arcade remains an early and unconfirmed arcade project rather than a finished product. The MAGFest appearance provides a first look at its cabinet direction, multiplayer networking work and driving controls, while the final release details are still to come.
If the game advances beyond testing, its production cabinet will be worth comparing with other arcade machines and full-size upright arcades. For more developments from the coin-operated gaming world, visit the RETROCADE Arcade Blog.
