Bowl Expo previews new arcade products
Bowl Expo takes place in one week and is expected to deliver fewer product debuts than a major event such as Amusement Expo. Several machines and attractions are nevertheless scheduled for the show, with further announcements still possible.

The event is scheduled for 1 and 2 July, and the show attendee plans to report on the floor. LAI Games and Sega Amusements have indicated that their stands may be smaller versions of their already reduced Amusement Expo booths. DPVR E4 headsets appear in more arcade VR titles
DPVR has announced that its E4 range of virtual-reality headsets, designed specifically for arcade and amusement applications, is being used in several commercial attractions. These include Sailor’s Quest VR from UNIS, Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade VR from Wahlap and LAI Games, Ultra Moto VR from UNIS, and Overtake VR from Wahlap.

Asteroids Recharged location test moves to the Classic Corner
A location test involving two Alan-1 games has changed format. Instead of running the larger three-player setup, the venue now has two two-player machines: Asteroids Recharged and Avian Knights.
After roughly a week at the front of the venue, both machines were moved to the rear, where the “Classic Corner” houses games generally 30 to 40 years old. Galaga Assault is one exception that has performed well in that area. The retro-oriented Alan-1 titles have responded positively too, with earnings appearing to triple after the move.
More information about the test, particularly Asteroids Recharged, is planned for a later report by a neutral writer. The person overseeing the test has taken on a substantial consulting role in the game’s development and therefore intends to separate detailed editorial coverage from that involvement.

Wrath of the Mutants compared with the arcade Turtles game
Raw Thrills’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade game from 2017 reached Nintendo Switch in April under the title Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Wrath of the Mutants. After purchasing the game during a recent sale, a new comparison video was prepared to examine the console version alongside the coin-operated release.
Footage was also captured from one of the Switch version’s new exclusive levels, although its eventual publication location had not yet been decided. Possible destinations included the main channel, members-only content or the Irata Non Grata channel.
