Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix have released a new content update for Big Buck Hunter: Reloaded. The free addition is rolling out to online-connected cabinets and introduces the Mountain Goat alongside three new bonus games.
Mountain Goat joins the hunt
The update brings Big Buck Hunter: Reloaded to twelve huntable animals and 36 bonus games. The Mountain Goat was selected through a vote by the Big Buck Hunter community, giving the new animal an obvious “greatest of all time” angle in the promotional material.
The content was originally expected in spring. It was first announced back at BuckFest 2025 last October and then promoted at Amusement Expo 2026 in March. Its arrival at the beginning of summer extends an unusually long period of anticipation for a Big Buck Hunter update.
Three new bonus games
The Mountain Goat is joined by three new bonus games:
- Midway Mayhem, set at a carnival midway shooting range
- Critter Construction, which takes place at a construction site filled with animals
- Turkey Time, centred on encounters with turkeys
Players can also take part in a sweepstakes for a limited-edition T-shirt. Eligibility requires a free Pro account.
Availability on connected cabinets
The update began reaching online-connected machines on Thursday, although some cabinets may not complete the download until later. Owners and venue operators can check their local machine before assuming the content is unavailable.
