Avatar: Seven Havens has introduced a new voice performer for Korra, with Cia Court credited for the character in episode 7, “What Lies Beneath”.
Korra is already central to the series despite being dead before its story begins. The post-apocalyptic setting appears to have been created by her actions, including the destruction associated with the cataclysm. That history has fuelled widespread resentment towards the Avatar and created serious problems for the new Avatar twins, Nisha and Pavi.
The latest episodes return to Korra during a flashback showing the destruction of Republic City. The sequence includes angry screams and grunts, which led viewers to notice a new credit for Korra in episode 7. That credit identifies Cia Court as the replacement voice performer.
Court is recognised for voicing Vi in League of Legends and Himeko in Honkai: Star Rail. Janet Varney, the original voice of Korra, held the role before this change. Jacqueline Grace Lopez also played Korra earlier in 2026 for Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game.
Is Korra really evil in Avatar: Seven Havens?
Court has not yet delivered spoken dialogue as Korra on screen; her appearance so far consists of vocalisations. However, the story appears likely to use her more extensively as it investigates the cataclysm, Korra’s apparent loss of control and the events that turned the world against her.
The journey to Republic Forest may provide important answers. The lost haven seems to occupy the site where Republic City once stood, bringing the twins closer to the truth and potentially to Korra herself. A meeting between the new Avatars and their predecessor would fit the direction of the story, particularly as they continue exploring their connection to past lives.
Seven Havens has repeatedly challenged simple explanations of its conflict. Rather than presenting one obvious villain, the series depicts people and groups as complicated survivors who make mistakes while trying to endure a changed world.
That leaves Korra’s reputation open to question. The cataclysm is linked to her, but the full circumstances remain unknown, making it too early to declare that she was truly evil. The creators have encouraged viewers to wait for the complete story, and the final four episodes were scheduled for release on October 20.
