Hulu has revealed an early look at Prison Break: Black Creek, a new series set in the world of the popular crime drama. The production is now underway and is listed as coming soon to Hulu and Disney+.

How the original series began
Prison Break first aired from 2005 to 2009 before returning for another season in 2017. Its central story followed brothers Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield, played by Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller.
Lincoln is sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit. Michael then develops an elaborate plan to get his brother out of prison, establishing the escape-focused premise that drove the early episodes.
The series ran for 90 episodes and became a major hit. Its later seasons moved away from that initial setup, a shift that left some viewers less enthusiastic about the show.
