Star Wars: Galactic Racer has received its first quality-of-life update, improving online multiplayer and adding several useful changes for PC and console players. The arcade-style racer, featuring fan-favourite alien Biddy Blas, is already regarded as one of 2026’s standout games.

Fuse Games announced the first update on October 22, with the patch now available on both console and PC. Its most noticeable change is the expansion of online party sizes: groups can now include up to six players instead of three.

That makes multiplayer Tours more suitable for larger groups of friends. Fuse Games said the change followed player feedback and was prioritised so more people could take part together, share their races and follow community-created multiplayer action.

For PC players, the update adds new keyboard control presets. Full key rebinding is still planned for a future update, so the keyboard improvements are an interim step rather than the end of the game’s control customisation.

The update is a useful reminder of why ongoing support matters for modern arcade and racing game news. While Galactic Racer is played on console and PC, its accessible, competitive format also fits naturally alongside the dedicated racing simulators found in arcade spaces.
