Mysidia, the Magiapolis, becomes the destination for Chapter 5, “Scars of Time”, in Final Fantasy Resonance. Rainn and the group need to reach the legendary city, but its location is hidden. The search relies on your airship’s technology rather than magic alone.

Finding Mysidia in Final Fantasy Resonance
Once you enter the airship interior during Chapter 5, Shera, Evan and Lid explain that the newly equipped aircraft has a radar capable of detecting the magic masking Mysidia.
Your task is to scan the world map and follow the radar signal. Lid provides feedback as you travel, although she does not initially tell you which direction to take. The southern section of the map is the best place to begin.
Follow Lid’s radar readings
You are moving towards the correct area when Lid reports readings such as, “Hang on… It’s faint, but I’m getting a reading” or “Got something! It’s still far, though.”
If Lid indicates that the signal has disappeared, change course and search another part of the map. Continue checking the radar until you are close enough for more precise guidance.
Near Mysidia, Lid begins identifying a specific cardinal direction. Her comments may include, “Bingo! There’s a hotspot to the north!” or “I can practically smell it! Just a liiittle to the south!” Follow the indicated direction and activate the radar at the exact location.

Mysidia’s map location
For the quickest route to the radar point, travel to the southern part of the Kingdom of Pharm in the west. Mysidia is located to the south, between the southern tip of the main island and two smaller islands.
When you use the radar in the correct spot, a cutscene begins. The island’s camouflage disappears, revealing Mysidia and allowing the story to continue.
Players planning a dedicated gaming space can browse RETROCADE’s arcade blog or compare options in the arcade machine buying guide. For a compact setup, the bartop arcade collection is another option.
