Lieutenant towers are fixed points of interest in the DMZ mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Finding one is required for an early objective, but the tower locations are easy to miss while you are learning the mode’s new systems.
This guide lists all five towers, explains how to identify them on the map and shows how using a tower can help you locate a lieutenant.
All lieutenant tower locations in DMZ

There are five lieutenant towers in DMZ, and their positions do not change between matches. On the in-game map, look for an orange-brown symbol resembling a radio tower with a skull above it.
Use these landmarks and grid references to plan your route:
- South of Deadtown — B7
- East of the 14th Political Prison — E3
- North-west of Wolves Stadium — G4
- East of Cheongun Village — F7
- East of Hajin River Heights — H8

How to use a lieutenant tower
After reaching a tower, climb the ladders to the top and interact with the terminal. This completes the “Hunter” order in the first section of the “Human Intel” chapter.
The terminal reveals the location of the nearest lieutenant. You do not have to fight that lieutenant immediately, so the tower can be used as a way to gather information before deciding what to do next.
When you want to track down a lieutenant, visiting one of the five towers first is more reliable than searching the map at random.
