Acts of Blood launches on PC this December
Indie martial-arts brawler Acts of Blood now has a confirmed Windows PC release date: 4 December 2026. The game, inspired by action films including The Raid, combines close-quarters combat with an especially grim and violent presentation.

Developer Eksil Team announced the release alongside news for console players. Versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are planned for 2027, although a more precise console date has not been given.
The project first attracted attention after appearing during Summer Game Fest last year. Its pitch is straightforward: imagine the counter-based combat of Sleeping Dogs and the layered combos of Sifu, then push the violence much further. Readers following the latest announcements can browse RETROCADE’s arcade news and gaming coverage.
Players who want to try the combat before December can download the Acts of Blood demo on Steam. It has received more than 1,500 Very Positive reviews, with players highlighting its animation quality, weighty attacks and relatively simple but meaningful combo system. The demo’s player reviews also reflect the game’s strong connection to The Raid.

Acts of Blood story and combat
The story follows Hendra, who travels through the busy streets of Bandapa, Indonesia, after his family is murdered. When the justice system fails, he pursues the powerful organisation responsible and sets out to make its members pay.
Hendra’s journey is built around revenge, combat training and progression. Players develop his martial-arts abilities, unlock more punishing techniques, fight groups of enemies and face powerful bosses while uncovering the people behind his family’s death.
Acts of Blood began as a solo project by Fajrul FN. As friends joined the development effort, the project grew into the small independent studio Eksil Team. The game draws on the gritty tone of Max Payne and Manhunt, alongside the combat ideas associated with Sleeping Dogs and Sifu.
Martial arts forms the foundation, with strikes, counters and finishing moves joined by improvised attacks. Hendra can use melee weapons, pick up firearms and turn parts of the environment against his opponents. The developers have also confirmed brutal takedowns, dismemberment and their own interpretation of X-ray-style kills.
For players setting up a dedicated gaming space, RETROCADE’s arcade machines and arcade parts cover the hardware side of the hobby, while the arcade-machine buying guide offers practical planning advice.
Acts of Blood arrives on Windows PC on 4 December 2026. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players will need to wait until sometime in 2027.
