Titanium Court, the Independent Game Festival’s Seumas McNally Grand Prize winner, is expanding beyond Windows PC. The indie game launches on 29 October for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5, with Android and iPhone versions also on the way.

A genre-mixing strategy game with a faerie-war setting
Created by developer AP Thomson, Titanium Court combines ideas from several very different game styles. Its design draws on roguelikes, tower defence, match-three puzzles and classic PC adventure games, while its deliberately absurd story includes Shakespearean undertones.
Players are transported to a faerie kingdom caught in the middle of a war. Survival depends on adapting to a battlefield that keeps changing: repositioning defensive structures and matching tiles to gather the resources needed to protect the kingdom.

Why Titanium Court matters
The game made a strong impression after its Windows PC release in April, earning an 85 aggregate score on Metacritic. Indie publisher Fellow Traveller also saw commercial success, with the game selling 25,000 copies. Its arrival on consoles and mobile could give it renewed attention during awards season.
Its awards history was already substantial before launch. At this year’s Independent Game Festival, Titanium Court won both Excellence in Design and the Seumas McNally Grand Prize, one of the leading honours for independent games.
The result also made AP Thomson the first developer to win the Seumas McNally award in consecutive years. Thomson previously received the 2025 award for Consume Me, a game co-developed with Jenny Jiao Hsia.

What console players can expect
Players who do not use PC will be able to try the game on 29 October across Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5. Mobile editions for Android and iPhone are planned as part of the same wider release.

The game’s unusual blend of tactical defence, tile matching and adventure-game storytelling makes its move to additional platforms notable. Its awards recognition and positive reception have already established a clear audience; the new versions will make that experiment available to a much broader group of players.
