‘Someone Else’s Shoes’ Quest Walkthrough in Arc Raiders

The “Someone Else’s Shoes” quest in Arc Raiders sends you across Stella Montis to investigate androids for Celeste and uncover information about Project Pathos. Because Stella Montis is one of the game’s most challenging maps, knowing the precise locations makes the mission much easier.

Where to scan an android on Stella Montis

Androids can be found in several areas of Stella Montis, including the Archives and Medical Research. If you want a reliable option, travel to the southern end of the Sandbox, where an android can be scanned.

Interact with any suitable android to complete the first objective, then continue to the Medical Bay for the next step.

Find the android in research lab three

Research lab three sits in the southeastern part of Medical Research, the area connected to Cargo Dock A. Enter the facility and search for the third bed. It is positioned behind blue curtains, with an android lying on it. Approach the android and interact with it to advance the quest.

Reach the control room in the Western Tunnels

The final location is in the Western Tunnels, found on the lowest level of Stella Montis. The tunnel system connects Lobby Metro in the northeast with the Loading Bay near the centre of the map.

Look for the well-lit control room at the middle of the junction. Enter the room and use the interaction prompt to retrieve the security footage. This completes the mission objective.

Quest rewards

Return to Celeste after collecting the footage to receive 5,000 XP, three herbal bandages, two shield rechargers and a Stella Montis Medical Storage key.
