‘Home to Roost’ Quest Walkthrough for Arc Raiders

Home to Roost is a lengthy and demanding quest in Arc Raiders following the Frozen Trails update. Despite that update introducing Pendola Pass, this mission takes place entirely on Blue Gate, where you must navigate dangerous tunnels filled with Pops, Fireballs, Shredders and other ARC enemies.

This walkthrough covers all eight objectives, including the android scan, Mantikor locker room, vehicle weighing logs, hidden key and final security recording.

Home to Roost quest objectives

The objectives must be completed in order, but you do not have to finish them during one deployment.

Reach the back of the Blue Gate tunnels.
Scan an android in the back of the Traffic Tunnels.
Reach the Mantikor locker room.
Search the locker room for clues.
Read the final vehicle weighing logs.
Find the hidden key. This step is optional.
Enter the Confiscation Room.
Transmit Mantikor’s final security recordings to Shani.

Reach the rear of the Blue Gate tunnels and scan an android

Head towards the section containing the Outer Gates, Warehouse Complex, Gate Control Room and Headhouse. Find one of the routes underground. The Outer Gates provide the most obvious entrance, although a Bastion or Bombardier may be patrolling nearby.

Once below ground, open the map and switch to the lower-level view. This reveals the Traffic Tunnel. At the bottom of the Headhouse, the tunnel divides into two roads. Touching the back wall of either route completes the first objective.

The left-hand, or northbound, route is the better choice for the next step because it contains several androids. Approach any android lying on the floor and interact with it to complete the scan.

Find the Mantikor locker room and inspect the clue

Open the map and travel towards the Security Wing. Near the area, look for a locked door with a blue Mantikor sign above it. You will return to this door later.

For now, turn right and climb the stairs. Follow the upper path, dealing with enemies as necessary, then turn right again. The locker room is through the doorway marked by another Mantikor sign.

Enter the room to update the objective. The clue is a red painting in the rear corner. Interact with it to continue.

Read the final vehicle weighing logs

Retrace your route down the stairs and return to the locked door near the Security Wing. In the road beside it, find the vehicle weighing station containing a rusted car.

Move to the side of the station nearest the wall. A terminal is positioned there. Interact with it to make a box drop to the ground, then search the box for the spare key. You need this key to access the final room.

Enter the Confiscation Room and transmit the recording

Return to the locked Mantikor door and use the spare key. Go inside and continue to the rear room.

In the centre of the room, climb onto the metal shelving. A shoebox on top contains the prompt for Mantikor’s security recording. Interact with it to transmit the recording and finish Home to Roost.

Home to Roost quest reward

Return to Shani after completing the transmission. The reward is 5,000 XP, one surge shield recharger, two sterilised bandages and two antiseptic. You will also receive the Someone Else’s Shoes quest.
