Control Resonant: Dylan’s Sketchbook Locations

Dylan’s Sketchbook is a collectible set in Control Resonant. Each set requires you to locate several pieces and arrange them correctly, revealing one of Dylan’s drawings and more about his character.

There are 11 drawings spread across Manhattan. Some locations require traversal abilities, so collect Reach from the fault in the Evacuation Zone and Shift from the fault in the West Incursion Zone before attempting a complete hunt. Your radar marks each set piece with a puzzle-piece icon.

Completing every drawing awards the Unfinished Lollipop artifact, an undefined reading and the Work-Life Balance achievement.

Downtown

Beach Day

At the construction site in Downtown’s north-east corner, directly below Lookout Point, collect the beach equipment behind the advertisement. Arrange the umbrella at the back and the chair at the front.

Rooftop Oasis

This set is in the Dense Patterning area at the north-western edge of Downtown. Use Shift to reach the area. Coming from the Oldest House, look on top of the building just before the vertical wall on the far side. Place the swans on the leaves and the plants on the bricks.

Central

The Cat Picnic

After entering Central’s eastern area, travel north-east towards the U-shaped building, or south from the Patterned Factory. The drawing is in the open space at the building’s centre. Put the basket on the picnic blanket and place the cat statues beside any plates.

Live on Stage

Find the Collector’s Apartment on Central’s south-western street. A black FBC van is parked outside, and the location also begins the “The Complete Set” side quest. On the second floor, arrange the instruments as follows:

Microphone in the middle
Guitar and bass beside the microphone
Keyboard at the back
Cymbal on the drum set

West Incursion Zone

Halloween Party

Use Reach to reach the top of the building containing an Urban Fresh Mart, north-east of the West Incursion Zone checkpoint. The set is partly assembled; use the remaining pieces to make it symmetrical.

Evacuation Zone

Robotics

Enter the brick warehouse in the south-west corner through the ground-floor door or the roof. Turn the vending machine into a robot: use the spotlight for its head, curved pipes for arms and T-shaped pipes for legs.

Dream House

On the second-highest floor of the construction site in the Evacuation Zone’s north-east, place the grey panel on the roof and the wood panel on the front. Put the small plant on the left, large plant on the right, then position the dog and cat at the front.

The Park

The Dragon and the Knight

Inside Park Valley Station, north of The Park entrance, build the dragon with fences as wings, traffic cones as back spikes and pizza slices as teeth.

Underpass

Space Adventure

The drawing sits on a pillar north-west of the Research Site. Progress through “Recursions and Iterations” until reaching the first Research Site, then glide and use Reach to cross to it. Place the flag on the tallest central box, with the two humans below. Put the alien on the lone box and the blue contraption over the X on the ground.

Unknown

Art Exhibition

Near the centre of the Unknown, travel north from the middle island’s central intersection to find the Könstig art gallery on the left. Defeat the enemies blocking the door with a Hiss barrier. Match objects to the white backdrops: the toilet goes with the largest, the vacuum cleaner with the rectangular backdrop, and the two smaller objects can occupy either remaining position.

Game Night

This drawing is on the small south-eastern island. First place the pylons from Pope’s research balloon on the south-western part of the middle island to open the route to the south-western island. Repeat the process with that island’s pylons to reach the south-eastern island. As you fall towards it, look for the construction site; the sketch is on its bottom floor.

Place the three items from the room’s shelves in the centre of the table. Collect three more items from shops outside the construction site, then put the candle and pizza on the table and the mannequin on the floor.
