Arashiyama Bamboo Forest offers a quieter change of pace from the urban scenery of Tokyo City in Forza Horizon 6. It is also the location for the Series 5 winter #BambooPerfect photo challenge.
Whether you are exploring Japan’s scenery or chasing the seasonal reward, this guide explains where to find the forest and how to reach it.
Arashiyama Bamboo Forest location
The forest sits on the eastern side of the map. Its off-road route runs through the Minamino and Ito regions, with entrances available from either area.
- From Ito, look northwest of the Kitayama Big Daisugi landmark.
- From Minamino, follow the coast northeast from the Shirakawa-go landmark to reach the nearby entrance.

Fast travel options
If you have already explored the forest, you can fast travel directly to either entrance. Use X or Square on a controller, or X on a keyboard, to select the fast-travel option.
Players who are still opening up map locations can instead fast travel to the Shirakawa Circuit in Minamino. The circuit places you reasonably close to the forest entrance.
How to complete the #BambooPerfect photo challenge
The bamboo setting is useful for more than scenic photography. During the “British Automative” Series 5 winter photo challenge, take a photograph of any McLaren inside the forest.
Completing #BambooPerfect awards the “Karate Master” epic emote and two seasonal points.
