Diablo 4 Season 15 was scheduled to begin on September 15, 2026, but widespread login problems have forced Blizzard to delay the launch. The season, titled Season of Hell’s Legacy, was planned as the centrepiece of Diablo’s 30th anniversary celebrations.

Login errors disrupt Season 15
Many players encountered error code 3000008 when attempting to start the game, while others reported error code 3000006. The launch issues also affected players downloading the Nintendo Switch 2 version for the first time, prompting jokes that they were joining the wider community in experiencing the problems surrounding a new Diablo launch.
Blizzard acknowledged the access problems in a community update posted on its official forum. A later message confirmed that the continuing issues meant Season 15 was delayed while the team worked on a solution.
Some seasonal characters may need to be rolled back
At least one player reported entering Season 15 with gold and Paragon Board unlocks from the previous season still available, even though those elements were expected to reset. The problem was reportedly connected to Rebirth, a new feature that transfers a character from the standard, or Eternal, realm into the Seasonal realm.
Other players appeared to access the season without trouble. However, because of the scale of the launch-day problems, anyone who began playing before the delay may have their progress rolled back.
