Capcom’s first US pop-up shop lands in Los Angeles

Capcom is bringing a temporary retail experience to Little Akihabara in Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo from Saturday, 19 September 2026. The shop will run for one month before closing on 18 October.

The store will offer limited-edition merchandise from several of Capcom’s best-known series. It is a US satellite of the company’s official shop inside the PARCO department store in Tokyo’s Shibuya district.

What will be available?

Visitors can expect a selection of plush toys, charms, shirts and other character merchandise connected with Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Monster Hunter and Mega Man.

The pictured range includes Mega Man.EXE, Blanka-chan and Rathalos mascot plushes, Resident Evil-themed trading rubber keychains, a Biohazard ECG T-shirt, a first-aid spray bottle, and Monster Hunter items featuring Felyne and Palico designs.

Mega Man demo planned for opening weekend

Capcom will also provide playable demonstrations of Mega Man: Dual Override on 19 and 20 September. Attendance for the demo sessions will be extremely limited across the opening weekend, so visitors should expect demand and potential waits. Capcom’s press release confirms that the first 50 visitors on each of those two days will receive a limited-edition Tokyo Game Show handkerchief featuring popular Capcom games.

Tokyo Game Show 2026 connections

The opening weekend coincides with Tokyo Game Show, which runs from 17 to 21 September 2026. The event’s five-day schedule marks its first such run and celebrates its 30th anniversary.

Before the show begins, Capcom Spotlight TGS 2026 is scheduled for 16 September at 10am ET. Announced games and content include Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance DLC, Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Mega Man: Dual Override, Pragmata, Onimusha: Way of the Sword and Street Fighter 6.

Ace Attorney 7 was not included in that announced list, despite the series reaching its 25th anniversary the following month.
