Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake gets more pre-order bonuses
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 with a special foil-covered first-print edition, but some pre-order bonuses are proving even more distinctive. One retailer-exclusive version includes a slip cover designed to resemble the original Nintendo 64 box.
The additional cover fits over the game case while retaining the foil design underneath. Its artwork recreates the classic N64 packaging, giving the modern release a distinctly retro presentation without changing the game itself.

Regional Ocarina of Time pre-order bonuses
The N64-style slip cover is not a worldwide offer. It is exclusive to Canadian customers who place an early order with EB Games. The Canadian physical edition costs the equivalent of US$79.25, compared with US$69.99 for the physical version in the United States.
Other regions have their own Nintendo bonuses. In the United Kingdom, customers ordering through Nintendo can receive a 3D replica of the Spiritual Stones that Link collects during the adventure.
A separate regional offer includes a small keychain replica of Link’s blue ocarina. Some of these extras have already sold out, so availability depends on the retailer and region.
Switch 2 Zelda console pre-orders remain difficult
The separate search for Nintendo’s Zelda-themed Switch 2 console is also continuing. Amazon and Target have restocked the hardware several times since pre-orders opened, with Amazon reportedly adding stock 22 times after midnight on September 11. Despite those restocks, the console may appear sold out whenever shoppers check.
Nintendo has provided guidance for securing a Switch 2 hardware pre-order. Resellers are another option, although buying through eBay means paying attention to seller reputation and the final price.
The The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is scheduled for release on November 5. The Nintendo Switch 2 – The Legend of Zelda – 40th Anniversary Edition hardware is due on October 29.
