Now, fans who keep Snorlax company overnight have a dedicated wearable to match. Google has announced a Pokémon Sleep edition of Fitbit Air, a small sleep and health tracker designed to work directly with Pokémon Sleep and finished in themed styling.
A Pokémon-themed Fitbit Air
The Pokémon Sleep edition is based on Fitbit Air, Google’s lightweight tracker for continuous health and sleep monitoring. At 5.2 grams, it is designed to be worn around the clock and includes an optical heart-rate monitor, accelerometer, gyroscope, SpO2 sensors and a skin-temperature sensor.
Fitbit Air can retain seven days of detailed, minute-by-minute movement data, alongside up to 30 days of daily summaries. Its battery is rated to last for up to seven days.
There is no special technical upgrade in the Pokémon version. Internally, it is essentially the same Fitbit Air, with the difference being its Pokémon Sleep-themed appearance. For collectors and dedicated players, the design provides a subtle way to show their interest without needing to explain it.
How Pokémon Sleep uses rest data
In Pokémon Sleep, players place their phone or a compatible sleep-tracking device nearby while they rest. The game assesses the night’s sleep and assigns a sleep type. When morning arrives, Pokémon gather around Snorlax according to the player’s results, creating new creatures to research and add to the collection.
