Mr. Trippy Turns an Ice Cream Truck Into a Drug-Dealing Sim

Steam’s upcoming indie game Mr. Trippy gives the humble ice cream truck a remarkably dubious second business. Developed by Silver Bullet, it combines dessert sales with an undercover drug-dealing operation.

Players take the role of an ice cream vendor driving a truck named “Mr. Trippy”. The game’s unusual premise relies on coded menu items: customers order particular flavours when they want a specific type of contraband.

Ice cream flavours with hidden meanings

The menu includes several deliberately unsubtle combinations. Cocoa Kush pairs chocolate ice cream with a spliff, while Mary Jane’s Berry uses strawberry ice cream with the same item. Xanilla Ice combines vanilla ice cream with pills, and Choco-Laced Chill serves pills with chocolate ice cream.

That double life creates the central risk. Local police and undercover agents monitor the business, so players must study their patterns, review customer orders and keep the game’s Heat Meter under control. Allowing the heat to rise can result in prison, leaving the player selling through bars rather than from the truck.

Keeping the operation running

Making money is only part of the challenge. Once enough cash has been earned, it must be processed through a business called “Legit Laundry” before it can be cleaned. The deliberately cheeky naming is a major part of the game’s tone.

Mr. Trippy was revealed on 4 August 2026 and attracted more than 28,000 Steam wishlists within a week. Despite being a single-player title, its chaotic premise has the feel of the social “friendslop” games that have recently found an audience on the platform.
