Amazon Prime members have two ways to receive games each month: selected titles to claim and keep, plus games available to stream through Amazon Luna. The August 2026 update adds two recent Assassin’s Creed adventures to Luna later this month, although an exact arrival date has not been announced.
Amazon’s August announcement also confirms that Disney/Pixar Brave: The Video Game and Bluey: The Videogame are already available to stream for players wanting something far removed from historical stealth and open-world combat.
Valhalla brings Viking-scale adventure
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was the series’ first entry released for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X generation. It continued the franchise’s move towards large role-playing-game worlds, placing players in the role of a Viking raider during the ninth century.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage retains an explorable city, but its design is more tightly aligned with the series’ stealth-focused beginnings. Sneaking through missions, planning assassinations and avoiding detection take priority over the broader RPG formula used by recent entries.
The game is a prequel to Valhalla and follows Basim, the thief first introduced in that game. While trying to survive in Baghdad, Basim becomes involved with the Assassin Hidden Ones order. His journey gradually transforms him into a skilled assassin while he investigates the secrets surrounding his past.
Its smaller, layered map and missions are designed around stealth and assassination puzzles, making Mirage a more focused alternative to the series’ biggest open worlds. That compact structure has led to the game being regarded as one of the strongest entries in the franchise.
August’s Prime games to claim
Alongside the Luna additions, Prime members can claim nine PC games during August. These are supplied as redeemable codes for several storefronts, including the Epic Games Store, Legacy Games, the Amazon Games App and GOG. Unlike subscription-dependent console offerings, claimed titles remain available after a Prime membership ends.
