South of Midnight now lists Compulsion Games as its publisher on Steam. The change follows the studio’s separation from Xbox during the company’s major reset last month, a restructuring that resulted in thousands of job losses, including among Compulsion staff.
There is one significant positive in the change: Compulsion Games now holds the rights to South of Midnight. That means proceeds from purchases go directly to the studio rather than Xbox.
