Ghost of Yotei is set to receive a substantial anniversary release, with Sucker Punch Productions announcing a Complete Edition for PS5 on 1 October 2026. The package includes a new narrative expansion, a roguelike mode and previously released bonus content.

Echoes of Sekigahara expands Atsu’s story
The headline addition is Echoes of Sekigahara, a story expansion that moves between the game’s present and flashbacks to Atsu’s time on the mainland. The campaign introduces Nagato, a new character, and takes the pair into an unexplored valley once used as a base by the Snake and its followers.
Its historical flashbacks focus on Atsu’s involvement in the Battle of Sekigahara, a defining event from her life before the revenge journey depicted in the main game. The expansion will also bring new enemies, heavy weapons, armour sets, dyes and additional content.
Most Wanted brings repeatable roguelike runs
The Complete Edition also introduces Most Wanted, a roguelike mode built around bounty hunts. Players accept a bounty to start a run, then unlock perks and other playable characters by defeating enemies.
Each character appears to specialise in a particular weapon. Atsu uses the dual katana, Oyuki fights with the kusarigama, and Nagato carries a yari.
Complete Edition pricing and access
Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition will cost $69.99. It includes the new expansion and Most Wanted, along with all content previously included in the Digital Deluxe Edition and the Charm of Hokkyokusei.
Buying the Complete Edition by 30 September also unlocks the Sakai Armour, which is inspired by Jin’s armour from Ghost of Tsushima. Buyers who purchase it before 1 October receive immediate access to the base game and co-operative Legends mode; the new story content and Most Wanted become available on launch day.
Owners of the base game will have the option of a $14.99 Complete Edition Upgrade. This provides access to Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted.
Free updates arrive for existing players
Players who do not buy the Complete Edition will still receive a free base-game patch on 1 October. It adds Beauty of Yotei, a mode that cycles through views of the game’s environments.
The update will also let players retain one armour set’s appearance while using another set’s statistics. A high-contrast accessibility option is being added as well.

Sucker Punch has said it will reveal more about the expansion and roguelike mode ahead of the Complete Edition’s release. The announcement gives Ghost of Yotei players a story-focused reason to return, while Most Wanted is designed to offer a more repeatable challenge.
