Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt has had one of his Twitch channels temporarily suspended after Twitch cited a violation of its Community Guidelines. The action came days after a livestream in which he discussed immigration and argued that children could be shot to prevent people from entering a country without authorisation.
During the stream, Hoyt reacted to a video by right-wing content creator Nick Shirley about people travelling from Morocco to Spain. After quoting a message from his live chat that suggested shooting those involved, Hoyt said he agreed with that approach.
Hoyt went on to say that people should be shot even if they were accompanied by children. He specifically accepted the idea of shooting an eight-year-old, presenting it as preferable to allowing a larger group to enter a country and potentially harm children already living there.
“Asmongold thinks undocumented children crossing the border illegally with their parents should be fair game to sh**t,” read a summary accompanying a clip of the broadcast.
“This emotional blackmail… well, you can’t sh**t these people, they have kids with them. Well then don’t bring your kids, if you don’t want to get sh*t… it’s really simple.”

The comments continued with repeated statements that Hoyt would shoot “whoever” he believed necessary to stop immigration, including women and children.
Why was the Twitch channel suspended?
Twitch has described the suspension only as a response to a Community Guidelines violation. The platform has not identified the specific stream or statement that triggered the penalty, so it remains unconfirmed whether the immigration discussion was the reason for the suspension.
The incident has nevertheless added to a pattern of platform discipline surrounding the streamer. Hoyt was suspended for a week in April 2026. At the time, he wrote that the ban followed a comment about the opinions of “illiterate third worlders.”
He was also suspended in 2024 over comments relating to the genocide of Palestinians. During that period, Hoyt told viewers that he had been becoming an increasingly mean-spirited, rude, callous and “psychopathic” version of himself.

Since then, Hoyt has continued making racist statements, at times alongside calls for violence. White nationalist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes previously described him as a “great ally”.
