Two new titles are expanding the exA-Arcadia arcade line-up: the long-awaited fighter Axel City 2 has entered location testing, while Pixel Games’ Donut Dodo Do! has received its official trailer.
Axel City 2 begins location testing
Axel City 2 has attracted attention since exA-Arcadia first emerged, with the fighter appearing at several trade events, including the recent Amusement Expo. It is now on test at two locations: Taito Hey In Akihabara and Nakano TRF.
Nakano TRF has already uploaded a 6 hour stream of the game already, while exA has published three videos of its own. One explains the fundamentals—one of which is how to play (video is in Japanese)—and the other two work as trailers. The longer trailer is included below.
The combat aims for a more traditional fighting-game style, drawing comparisons with Fatal Fury Special and Super Street Fighter II Turbo. An optional adult-content setting gives the female fighters more exaggerated details. There is no blood, although some hit effects may appear blood-like for certain characters.
The location test continues through the 17th. It has not been listed yet for pre-order, so its price has not been confirmed. An estimate places the kit between $1,200 and $1,500. There are also no plans for a console version, making Axel City 2 an exA-Arcadia and arcade exclusive.

Donut Dodo Do! trailer arrives
Pixel Games’ arcade version of Donut Dodo now has an official trailer. The title uses “Do!” rather than “Dough!”, and the exA-Arcadia release adds more than a simple conversion: players can expect a new character named Bella, an additional level and gameplay adjustments.
The port also targets extremely low input latency, described as lower than the console versions. This one is available now for pre-order and is expected to ship soon. It is positioned as a budget release priced below $1,000.
That pricing could make a four-game budget exA-Arcadia collection possible, with Donut Dodo Do! joined by:
- Astro Ninja Man Exa
- Kira Kira Star Night Exa
- Cosmic Digger 3671
Two different additions to the arcade line-up
Axel City 2 offers a classic-style competitive fighter, while Donut Dodo Do! focuses on accessible arcade action with additional content and very low input lag. Both releases highlight the range of software arriving for exA-Arcadia coin-operated platforms.
