With the IAAPA 2023 show floor opening in one week, Sega Amusements has revealed a broad selection of new arcade, racing, redemption and prize machines. The company will be exhibiting at booth 1006. Visitors can expect a closer look at the games, while remote fans can follow filmed coverage of the booth and individual cabinets.
The returning line-up includes the Augmented Reality darts system, which is expected to feature a new game or mode alongside its previous content.
Apex Rebels brings motion to Unreal Engine 5
Apex Rebels is a new original arcade project created through another collaboration between Sega Amusements and 3MindWave. The game combines a dedicated arcade cabinet, a motion base and graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5.
The machine had not yet been shown in action when this preview was prepared, although a trailer is now available. The cabinet image indicates a four-player configuration.
Hyper Cross takes racing to the snow
Joining Apex Rebels in the racing category, Hyper Cross swaps conventional cars for snowmobiles. The twin cabinet was developed by Taiwan-based companies IGS and Baohui, and its customisation system lets players decorate and adjust a wide range of character features.
With no other snowmobile arcade racers currently identified in the market, the game could establish a distinctive position for operators. Sega’s booth information also lists Storm Rider 2 and VR Agent. Crazy Rafting and Drone Racing Genesis are not included in that release, though their absence does not confirm that they will be missing from the show.
Zombies! Ready, Deady, Go! turns racing into redemption
Zombies! Ready, Deady, Go! is a videmption title built around derby-style competition. Advertising in Intergame and RePlay Magazine provided an early look at the game after a period of speculation.
The reported play format involves rolling a ball down a lane and aiming for specific holes. Each result advances a zombie by a corresponding distance, with the first zombie to reach the finish line winning the most tickets.
The theme takes a more playful route than Sega’s House of the Dead EX/Loving Deads, which previously offered a cartoon-influenced interpretation of that franchise.
Bop It! Battle expands to four players
Bop It! Battle was not included in the initial preview information, but it appeared later on the Sega Amusements website. The title has also been seen in testing at Dave & Busters. It develops the concept introduced the previous year by supporting four-player competition.
Allstars Air Hockey adds animated lighting
The Allstars range is expanding with a new air hockey table. Sega previously applied a video screen to Allstars Basketball; this machine instead highlights the playfield with vivid animated lighting and edge illumination designed to enhance both presentation and play.
The available description does not clarify whether the effects come from LEDs built into the polycarbonate playfield or projection from above. If projection is used, the concept appears distinct from Sega’s earlier, higher-priced Heat Up Hockey.
New redemption and prize machines
Redemption-focused venues will have several new options to consider, including BallZania, Skill Fall Revolution, Pirate Captain and Sync Pong. The display will also include new possibilities for the Capto Crane range.
One of those is Capto Candy, a rebranded Capto Crane designed to dispense candy. Its dedicated presentation gives the familiar crane format a sharper, more focused look.

Sega Amusements’ booth brings together motion-enhanced video games, unusual racing concepts, competitive redemption titles, air hockey and prize equipment.
