Coastal Amusements is now preparing its latest arcade video game, Bullseye Crack Shot, for shipment to operators. The production cabinet was displayed at IAAPA 2023 after the game’s earlier presentation at Bowl Expo.
A new shooting-range attraction
Bullseye Crack Shot arrives during a busy period for arcade shooting games, with several new video shooting-range attractions competing for player attention. One recent example is Big Shot from JET Games.
The game was developed in China by Ace Amusement and had already been available in Europe through UDC before its United States appearance at IAAPA 2023.
Cabinet options
Operators can choose between two main configurations: a single-player cabinet with a 49-inch monitor or a two-player model fitted with a 65-inch monitor. A third twin version of the single-player cabinet is also available, although it was not shown in the supplied coverage.
Each version uses a plastic light-gun shell with recoil. The machines support ticket and eTicket redemption, while operators can also configure them to run without ticket redemption.
Eight shooting scenarios
The game offers eight selectable scenarios, covering activities such as skeet shooting, accuracy challenges and bottle-breaking contests. Other stages use a more traditional shoot-the-bad-guys format.
Some of the visual design may bring Borderlands to mind, while the western-themed content can be compared with Coastal’s Wild West Shootout.
Pricing and arcade placement
Pricing depends on the distributor and cabinet configuration, and no manufacturer’s suggested retail price was provided.
