With the November IAAPA trade show approaching, the amusement industry is preparing for new attractions, machines and manufacturers. One company making its debut is Canada-based Blue Motion Games, a new venture founded by Salim Sabbagha.
Who is Blue Motion Games?
Sabbagha brings previous industry experience from Trio-Tech and, most recently, Playmind. Blue Motion Games aims to offer a fresh perspective on amusement products without trying to completely reinvent the category. The company’s focus is on refining established ideas and adding new features for operators.

Blue Motion’s simulator range
One of the company’s first initiatives is a North American partnership with Amega Entertainment, a simulator manufacturer based in Istanbul, Turkey. Amega has exhibited at IAAPA several times and has developed products aimed at large entertainment venues.
Amega’s Cinecoaster 360 and E-Racing Container have received IAAPA Brass Ring Awards.
Blue Motion’s planned North American product range includes the Cinecoaster, Heliride 2 and Heliride 15, Oceanride 2 and Oceanride 16, plus full-body and half-body simulators with linked-play capability. The line-up also includes the WRS, described as a more realistic take on the style of driving action found in NFS Heat Takedown.
Some of these experiences are designed to work best with VR headsets. Others, including the Formula S simulator shown above, can operate with either VR or a curved display.
Where to find Blue Motion at IAAPA
As a newly established exhibitor, Blue Motion Games was not yet shown on the IAAPA floor map. Visitors could find the company at Amega’s booth, number 5819, positioned on the far-right side of the south side near the large outdoor entrance.
Many of these products are built for large family entertainment centres and indoor adventure parks rather than conventional arcades. Some attractions can accommodate up to 16 people and require an attendant, placing them firmly in the attraction category instead of the arcade-machine market. Smaller venues could still consider them if they have sufficient floor space and budget.

New Blue Motion arcade games
Blue Motion Games is also developing at least two original titles in-house. Details were being kept confidential, but both games were expected to be ready around IAAPA. They are separate from Amega’s products and are intended to fit more naturally into the arcade and FEC environment.
The plan was to install at least one example of each title at an Orlando location for testing. These test installations would be outside the trade-show floor, giving IAAPA visitors an opportunity to see the games while exploring local venues. A 2025 release was considered possible, although the timing could change as development continued.
