With IAAPA Expo 2024 opening in about a week, arcade manufacturers are confirming the products they will present to the international amusement industry. Raw Thrills has now outlined its line-up, including the confirmed launch of a new two-player Halo: Fireteam Raven cabinet.
Halo: Fireteam Raven 2-Player Tethered
Raw Thrills officially calls this version the “tethered” model. Some operators and players may describe it as the assault model because its controls use Halo assault-rifle-style controllers, as seen on the earlier four-player cabinet.
The two-player machine is now confirmed to be shipping, with some early units potentially already installed. The reported manufacturer’s suggested retail price is approximately $12,000, plus freight.
Raw Thrills has also supplied distributors and arcade venues with an extensive media kit. It includes promotional material for customers, printable standee banners and social media graphics.

The Betson/Raw Thrills booth will be the main location for the company’s games. If that area is particularly busy, selected Raw Thrills titles will also be available at the Bandai Namco Amusement booth.
Angry Birds Boom!
Angry Birds Boom! has recently started shipping to venues. After debuting at IAAPA Expo Europe 2024, the game will make its North American industry debut at this event.
Godzilla Kaiju Wars VR
All five chapters of Godzilla Kaiju Wars VR are scheduled to be playable at IAAPA. The remaining three chapters will follow the show, answering the question operators and players have been asking throughout the year.
The event will also host the first major showing of three free Chapter Additions: Gigan Attack, Tokyo Onslaught and River Assault. The update changes the game’s attract mode as well.
NBA SuperStars
NBA SuperStars received a limited release earlier in 2024 before a broader rollout. IAAPA 2024 will be its first appearance at the show, and the cabinet will feature a software update intended to make play faster and more exciting.
The adjustment will be worth watching, particularly after some players felt the original version played slowly compared with classic basketball machines such as NBA Jam.
Marvel: Contest of Champions
Marvel: Contest of Champions is receiving a new presentation centred on Deadpool Vs. Wolverine, the summer’s major film hit. Its software update will also revise the attract mode to match the new focus.

Visitors will also be able to see other titles that remain in production, including Fast & Furious Arcade, Minecraft Dungeons Arcade and Big Buck Hunter Reloaded, alongside games that have already been available for some time.
