- Each new version can add between 200 and 300 songs. The current Japanese example is Maimai DX Prism.
- The US release will receive the updates used by Japan through the existing International version supplied to other Asian territories, rather than falling several versions behind.
- A European release remains undecided and will depend on the North American rollout and licensing.
Online Maintenance Still Needs Clarification
During location testing, scheduled online maintenance reportedly took place between 3pm and 6pm. The cabinet remained playable during this period, but some songs and all online functions were unavailable. Considering the Arcade Price
The $30,995 MSRP places Maimai DX firmly in the high-end commercial arcade market. The price was set before tariff discussions became a factor, and recent arcade releases have increasingly appeared at prices above $20,000 and $30,000.
The final figure could change depending on how tariff costs develop.
