One Piece is heading into Fortnite as part of the upcoming Treasure Hunters mini-season, ending weeks of speculation about the next crossover. Early promotional material has now offered the first indication of which characters will appear.
Epic Games confirmed the collaboration on Sunday with a teaser showing the Going Merry on the Battle Royale island. The Straw Hat Pirates’ ship is expected to replace the Battle Bus when the event begins.
Luffy and Ace lead the first reveal
Wanted posters displayed around London’s Soho district identify four likely Battle Pass outfits: Luffy and Ace from One Piece, alongside Jonesy and Hope from Fortnite. The two original characters appear to have been redesigned with an anime-inspired look.
The posters provide the clearest look yet at the crossover’s character lineup, although Epic has not shared complete details for every outfit. Players should expect further official previews as the new season approaches.
When does Fortnite Treasure Hunters begin?
Fortnite Treasure Hunters begins on Sunday, November 1. The reveal arrived shortly after fans questioned whether the mini-season would include collaborative cosmetics at all. Posters seen in Madrid’s subway had suggested that the Battle Pass might instead focus on generic anime-themed skins.
The previous mini-season centred on The Simpsons and included four Battle Pass skins: Homer, Ned, Marge and a Simpson-style version of Peely as a bonus. Based on that format, the four characters shown in the new posters may make up this season’s main skin selection, though that remains unconfirmed.
More crossover details are expected
With only a few days remaining in Chapter 7 Season 4, Epic is likely to reveal more information through its social media channels. For players who follow live-service gaming and arcade culture, the crossover is another example of how recognisable entertainment brands continue to shape modern gaming events.
