Pokémon Pokopia gives players a different way to spend time with Pocket Monsters. Rather than focusing on catching and battling, the Nintendo Switch 2 game centres on talking with Pokémon and creating homes for them.
The game has already received a DLC expansion, with more content planned for 2026. Now, dataminers have identified 25 Pokémon in the game’s files that have not yet appeared in-game.
The discovery is not confirmation that every listed Pokémon will be added. The group could be split between the second expansion and a third DLC release planned for 2027.
25 Pokémon reportedly found in the files
The reported lineup includes several evolutionary families, from early-generation favourites to more recent additions:

- Metapod
- Butterfree
- Doduo
- Dodrio
- Snubbull
- Granbull
- Delibird
- Skitty
- Delcatty
- Turtwig
- Grotle
- Torterra
- Cresselia
- Petilil
- Lilligant
- Fennekin
- Braixen
- Delphox
- Swirlix
- Slurpuff
- Milcery
- Alcremie
- Dipplin
- Hydrapple
The list includes classic Bug-types such as Caterpie, Sinnoh starter Turtwig and Kalos starter Fennekin. It also suggests that several Pokémon connected to food, plants and seasonal themes could eventually join the game.
Pokémon Pokopia DLC 2 may add seasonal events
The same leak points to a Dipplin and Hydrapple event before the second expansion arrives. That would follow the game’s existing approach to themed events, including a Jirachi event held over the summer.
Christmas and New Year’s events are also reportedly planned as part of the DLC. Another rumoured addition is a new Alcremie “character”, potentially following the example of Mosslax: a Snorlax that has slept for so long that moss has grown across its body.
A new Pokémon is also alleged to be on the way, although the available information does not identify it.
What has been confirmed?
The Pokémon Company and Nintendo have not officially detailed the next Pokémon Pokopia DLC. Until an announcement is made, the leaked Pokémon list and event details should be treated as unconfirmed.
