Rockstar Games has revealed an early selection of the radio stations and songs coming to Grand Theft Auto 6, offering a first official look at the game’s broad musical lineup. The update arrives alongside other ongoing discussion around the open-world sequel, but the focus here is firmly on its in-game audio.

On October 8, Rockstar updated its official GTA 6 website with a dedicated music section. The studio says the game will feature the “biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio” in the series so far.

Trailers and previous leaks had already suggested some of the music players might hear. This is the first time Rockstar has officially presented a selection of the stations planned for the game, however. The update currently highlights six stations and their musical identities.

GTA 6 radio stations revealed so far

  • Flash FM: Pop music hits
  • Back Country Radio: Classic country hits and outlaw tracks
  • Cocoteo FM: Modern Latin hits and bangers
  • The Chamber 106.6: Hard rock and speed metal
  • Afro Bank FM: Amapiano and African hits
  • Dirty South Classics: Regional rap and hip-hop classics

The website previews include short DJ segments and excerpts from songs. Confirmed examples include “Electric Feel” by MGMT, “Raining Blood” by Slayer and “Don’t Come Home a Drinkin’” by Loretta Lynn, giving the announced lineup a notably varied spread of genres.

Radio will work outside vehicles

These six stations are not the complete list. Rockstar describes the update as a preview of some of the music available when GTA 6 launches in November.

Rockstar also confirmed that players will be able to listen to radio while on foot for the first time in the franchise. Jason and Lucia can use their phones to access the stations, while “on-demand” podcasts will be available both on foot and in vehicles.

The developer says more information about the game’s music and the GTA 6 album will be shared soon. For readers planning a compact games room, RETROCADE’s bartop arcades offer another space-conscious option alongside a full cabinet.
