Arc Raiders introduces the outpost with the Frozen Trail update. Before you can establish a base on the surface and leave Speranza, you must complete three objectives in the dedicated Outpost tab, available outside raids.
This guide covers the required research, resources and combat tasks, along with the rewards for each stage. If you enjoy hands-on builds, browse RETROCADE’s arcade and pinball plans for more project inspiration.

1. Research topside living conditions

Travel to the Ruined Homestead on the Blue Gate map and photograph any farmland house. A camera must be in your inventory before you arrive.
Be prepared for resistance. The area commonly contains Arc enemies such as a Leaper, Bastion or Bombardier.
Reward:
- Advanced camera blueprint
2. Gather the building materials

The second stage calls for the following resources:
- 3 planks
- 5 sheet metal
- 10 Arc alloy
- 3 advanced electrical components
Reward:
- Red light stick blueprint
Planks and sheet metal are new but common materials. Celeste can also provide each material in exchange for three assorted seeds. Advanced electrical components can be crafted at an upgraded refiner workbench, using three wires and two electrical components for each one.
For more hardware-focused projects, RETROCADE’s DIY arcade kits offer another way to turn materials into a playable build.
3. Safeguard the building site

The final section has two combat objectives:
- Deal 800 damage to flying Arc enemies
- Deal 300 damage to Bullies
Rewards:
- Hotel chair design
- 15 planks
- 5 durable cloths
Pendola Pass is a useful place to work on these requirements. Skulkers appear throughout the map; listen for their beeping, which resembles a Star Wars droid. Bullies are generally found in central areas, and heavy fighting may indicate that another player or squad is already engaging one.
What happens after the outpost is complete?
Once all three sections are finished, you can complete the outpost and add furniture and workbenches. This is also the only way to obtain the research station, which is needed for weapon amplification.
