Fortnite and Star Wars are teaming up again, but the latest cosmetic reward comes with an unusually demanding unlock condition. The Forsworn Trooper skin is available to eligible players who visit the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
The promotion connects an in-person theme-park visit with an in-game reward. Players who cannot travel to one of the participating parks can still earn other Smugglers Gambit items through Fortnite’s Creative mode and a limited-time livestream promotion.
How to unlock the Forsworn Trooper
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run operates at two Disney destinations: Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, and Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.
Before boarding the attraction, players must open their Disneyland or MyDisney app and accept a mission from Hondo Ohnaka. The app detects that the player is on the ride and marks the account as eligible for the Fortnite reward.
After linking the MyDisney and Epic Games accounts, the Forsworn Trooper skin should be delivered the next time the player signs into Fortnite. If an in-game reward cannot be delivered, Disney will send an email containing a redemption code instead.
Regional restrictions apply
The offer is not available worldwide. The skin can only be claimed by Fortnite accounts registered in Australia, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom or the United States. Accounts from other regions are excluded, even if the player visits the attraction or receives a code.
This restriction means that visiting a participating Disney park does not automatically guarantee access to the cosmetic. Further details about the regional limitation were highlighted by TVS_Yarin on X.
Free Fortnite rewards at home
The Smugglers Gambit Creative island offers a separate free loading screen. Players can find it through the Discover tab by entering island code 7474-2686-2725.
Players who have visited the park can travel to Hondo’s docking bay within the island, speak with him and begin his quest. The expiry date for these offers has not been confirmed, so eligible players should claim them promptly.

Everyone, regardless of whether they can visit a Disney park, can tune into a Fortnite livestream on Twitch between 16 and 21 August. Viewers must watch a Fortnite content creator in the Drops Enabled category.
