Recent leaks suggest that Kingdom Hearts, the RPG series created through a partnership between Square Enix and Disney, could be coming to Fortnite. The possibility fits with growing signs that the game’s next season may focus on video game history and culture.
Fortnite’s possible Gaming Legends season
When the final update for Chapter 7 Season 3 launched, data miners reportedly found a collection of unusual posters in the game files. The artwork appeared to reference several recognisable retro franchises, including Mega Man, Pac-Man, Tetris and Sonic.
The posters were stored alongside assets connected to the forthcoming season finale event. That discovery led players to speculate that Chapter 7 Season 4 could use a “Gaming Legends” theme. The rumoured concept would give Fortnite another opportunity to draw from the history of console and arcade gaming.
Fans have also discussed possible appearances from Persona and Kingdom Hearts. The Kingdom Hearts theory gained extra momentum after leakers reportedly located related cosmetics in Rocket League files.

Because Rocket League and Fortnite are both connected to Epic Games’ portfolio, players expect qualifying vehicle cosmetics to be usable across both titles. The leaked item appears to be an Octane decal influenced by Sora’s clothing from the original Kingdom Hearts.
The first Kingdom Hearts game launched in 2002, placing it within the era many players now regard as retro gaming. Its reported presence would therefore match the rumoured Gaming Legends direction, alongside the classic franchises referenced by the posters.
