Welcome to RetroCade.store. By using this website and/or purchasing products from us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read this agreement carefully before proceeding with any purchase, especially custom orders.
1. General
This website is operated by RetroCade (“we”, “our”, or “us”). Throughout the site, the terms “you”, “your”, and “customer” refer to the user or purchaser.
By accessing or using our site and purchasing products, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or purchase from us.
2. Compliance With Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
However, the ACL does not override custom manufacturing policies, and certain conditions specific to custom-built machines still apply as listed below.
3. Custom Orders
We specialise in building custom arcade and virtual pinball machines to your specifications. As such, specific terms apply to these orders:
- NO REFUNDS are available on custom orders once production has started. This includes changes of mind or incorrect specifications provided by the buyer.
- A 50% deposit is required upfront for all custom orders. No production will commence until the deposit is received.
- The remaining 50% must be paid in full before shipping or pickup.
- You must contact us by phone before placing a custom order to discuss the build details, lead time, and shipping requirements. Orders placed without prior contact may be delayed or rejected.

4. Warranty
- All machines are covered by a 24-month return-to-base (RTB) warranty from the date of purchase.
- This warranty covers manufacturing defects and component failure under normal use conditions.
- The buyer is responsible for all transport/shipping costs for warranty returns and repairs.
- Warranty is voided if the machine is modified, damaged due to misuse, or exposed to liquid, power surges, or improper storage conditions.
5. Insurance & Shipping
- All machines must be insured prior to being shipped from our facility.
- This insurance is mandatory and is at the buyer’s cost.
- We will assist with arranging insurance upon request, but ultimate responsibility rests with the buyer.
- We accept no liability for loss or damage to machines in transit if insurance has not been arranged.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
- Standard (non-custom) products may be eligible for refund or replacement in accordance with Australian Consumer Law, provided they are returned in original condition and packaging.
- Custom-built machines are non-refundable under all circumstances once production has begun.
- In the event of a dispute, we will act in accordance with ACL obligations but reserve the right to inspect and assess the machine before any resolution.
7. Pricing and Payment
- All prices are in AUD and inclusive of GST (unless stated otherwise).
- We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time without notice.
- Payments are accepted via EFT, credit/debit card, or other approved methods.
- Orders will not be dispatched until full payment has been received and cleared.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on RetroCade.store—including images, logos, text, and product designs—is the property of RetroCade and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RetroCade shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits or data, arising from the use or inability to use our products.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
